On June 20th the Krueger & James team and their entire families headed out to Royals stadium. We’re guessing it had to be the hottest day of the summer so far…but hey, we’re tough!
Driving around the parking lot we immediately found a little piece of grass under shade trees & set up our potluck food spread. We had everything from Jason’s famous pulled pork, to hot dogs, brisket, potatoes, chips, beans, watermelon, and more! We gathered our chairs under the shade and enjoyed the time. The kiddos (and there are a bunch) all ran around and played.
Because it was Mike Moustakas Bobblehead Night, several from out team headed in the stadium early. I think everyone that wanted the bobblehead got one! Yes, we are a determined group!
Our seats were in the sun so it was a VERRRRYYYY hot game. Thankfully, the sun eventually went down. And best of all…the Royals WON!
I personally love this Royals team. They all really seem to enjoy what they do and enjoy playing with each other. They pull together, both in good times and in bad. And they have a terrific leader in Ned Yost. They believe in each other, cheer for each other and lift each other up. They are the epitome of what it means to be a TEAM! At Krueger & James we love the example the Royals have set and strive every day to be that same type of team!
Yes, it was a great night to celebrate our K&J team and the Royals!
We just have one more thing to say to the Royals…. “Keep it up! Let’s win the World Series!”
